Samantha’s Testimony

I was in a very bad place in life, my social worker through CPS

came and gave me an ultimatum to apply to Exodus Ministries for

their transitional housing. I applied for their program and was

accepted the same week. I was so thankful! I packed up what

little belongings I had in a bag, feeling very overwhelmed, not

sure of what the future would hold for me and my children. It was

rocky at first, I almost left. But then I woke up to realize that I

needed to surrender my will to the process of giving my life to

Christ and following Him. Through this ministry, the programs

they offer and case management helped me to overcome my

past, insecurities and addiction. I was able to believe that I can

do all things through Christ that strengthens me. I submitted

myself to do the work and forgo the process. I attended the

weekly Recovery meetings they offer. I passed every drug

screen. I quickly got a job, earned my own vehicle. Becoming a

member of CTC, I love my church family and so do my children. I have reconciled with my children, and have my own beautiful

farmhouse now! I am so thankful for taking the leap and going to

Exodus Ministries for without them I would not be where I am
